Deliverables for Module 3 Data Classification

Here is the first part of the Data Classification Lab. I like the way how we can add multiple layers to our projects to display different types of maps. I used different colors to show the different types of data classifications, so my maps could be easier to read by my viewers.

The second part of this lab was to answer the question, Which classification do you think best represents the data and why? Well I believe the Natural Break method fits well with the data we were given. Looking closely at the map, you can see where the high population levels are at. Therefore if a company or someone wanted to market or target this specific population, they have a more detail view of which neighborhood has the highest population.

Good VS Bad Maps

This is my example of a good map. This is a military map and I'm use to these kinds of maps after spending 10 years in the military. The features of this maps has clear legend, good contour lines to judge elevation, and grid square to pin point your location within a meter.

This is my example of a bad map. No legend, can't tell where north is on this map. The user of this map is not gonna find that airfield.
